| Cartoon Network was originally for cartoons, anime is a different demographic. All the names you mentioned are anime that is probably showed on AnimeNetwork Channel, Syfy, or Funimation Channel. | Some content providers have shows available on their website, but not necessarily all shows. It wouldn't be like watching TV, but more like the "on demand" systems of digital cable subscribers. As for a free alternative, I doubt you'll find a free legal solution out there. |

| It's pretty much slim pickings, as far as anime on American tv goes. There are a number of different networks that have anime blocks, but not a lot of it is very good. A good place to find info about anime airing on tv is Anime News Network's column "The Click." It's updated every Saturday I think, and has listing/synopsises for all anime airing that week.
