What is the youngest guys/teens can start working at?
Okay so I'm 12 years old, and I live in Canada.
The pet store around the corner, which i used to volunteer at, asked my mom how old I was (since I do look a little older then I am) and when she told them I was 12 they were like, oh okay, still too young.
So, for example, if I were to work every Sunday for like 5 hours, how old would I have to be?

Thanks in advance.

Do your young teens shop for clothes from the guys section?
My daughter who just turned 14 still shops at the guys section and I hope she stays that way for at least another year. She is the youngest in 9th grade and most of her friends (most of them who are 15) are already wearing clothes and lingerie that are too sexy (such as those from victoria's secret).

Most guy stores (such as abercrombie guys & limited too) go up to young-mid teen sizes. I find those guy stores stylish enough, sometimes even sexy for a young teen.

I hope my daughter doesn't grow up too quickly.
I'm currently 15 and I still shop in the guydie section. I'm not going to lie, I still like some of the styles and I'm actually jealous of young guyren. "You have to dress your age." Stereotypical.

It disgusts me in seeing girls my age or even younger dress like a slut.
Have you noticed that if you go to Wal-Mart or any clothing store that the shorts and skirts are getting shorter? And that the tops are getting lower?

I honestly don't want to see how society will end up looking like in the future. The next "cool" style will probably be nude...
Teens: What is the youngest age person that you will date?
How old are you?
15. I'm 15.

Do you think that literature for young teens are nonexistent today?
There are many shelves lined with novels about sex, rich girls, private boarding schools, typical romance, fantasy, and competition in the young adult section in the bookstores. An example would be "Gossip Girls" or the "It Girls" series. Do teens today like to read those novels? If so, why do you find them appealing? Does anyone write anything worth reading anymore? In my opinion, I would love to read something written by classic authors in the late 19th or early 20th century era in the young adult section.
I'm a seventeen year old girl. I'm kind of transitioning out of reading Young Adult novels into reading more sophisticated novels, but I still love Sarah Dessen and John Green (both are Young Adult authors). I will probably never stop reading their books as long as they continue to write no matter how old I get. While the character's in their books deal with a lot of typical teen angst they also deal with more serious issues. I also like their writing styles.

I never could stand books like the "Gossip Girls" series. I personally don't know how anyone can read them, but to each his own.

I don't really read classics for pleasure. It's not because I don't like them. It's just that they are kind of beating me to death with classics in school right now.
What are some really good books for young teens?
I'm an advanced teenage reader that needs a really good hard book. I can read quite advanced adult books, but my parents are afraid they aren't suitable. The books designed for young teens aren't challenging and are all vampire romances. I've enjoyed books such as Never Let Me Go, The Book Thief and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I am not a fantasy/supernatural type.
Try Paper Towns by John Green
(A boy and girl have a special friendship, but suddenly the girl goes missing. The boy decides he needs to find out where his friend went. This isn't without consequences though. Nothing is what it seems.)

or try The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
(a native American boy tries to escape his faith of becoming a low-life Indian by entering the White World).

I myself liked The Cement Garden (Ian McEwan) a lot. This is about a family whose parents go missing. Growing up alone is difficult, but a secret keeps them togheter.

About a Boy - Nick Hornby
A boy and grown man learn a lot from eachother, although they don't seem to have anything in common at first.
Where can i begin doing young teens pair figure skating near Boston Massachusetts?
I am 13 years old and would like to start doing young teens pair figure skating. I am on freestyle 5 and have been skating since i was very young. I would very much love some help on finding a way on how i can do this. THANKS!
It depends on where you are. I mean you say you're "near Boston", but different areas around here have totally different skating programs. If you're North or West of the city, the best is the Colonial figure skating club in Acton. They have some of the best skating programs in the state; they got the more medals than any other club this year at regionals. I don't do pairs, but I know they do a bunch of pairs skating and they have really great pairs coaches. If you don't live close to there, I'd call up the Skating Club of Boston. They're really good too. Good luck!
What are some sacrifices young teens have to make if they become pregnant?
Can anyone tell me some of the sacrifices young teens have to make if they become pregnant, and some of the responsibilities they have to make and how it affects their life?
thank you:)
for one they will miss out a valued education, just being a guy and enjoying being young.
i was 18 when i became pregnant i was classifioed as an adult but so not ready. i was mature for my age how a "young" teenager will cope with a guy is not fair on them. they r still guyren themselves. i believe by growing up too soon they miss out on the proper social interaction with people their age?

not to mention it will make it harder when they are older , to progress in their career, buy a house and or car.
How can a group of young teens publish their fantasy books they'll writing?
My friends and I are currently between 14-15, in hopes to publish our books. The books we writing are fantasy-type for other young teens of our age. How can we publish our books that wouldn't discourage us that much?
In the same way an adult would. Write to a publisher who publishes fantasy books.

However, there is a lot of protocol and things involved, for that, google it, there are plenty of help sites.

It may take very long for you to receive an answer though. If you are not accepted, don't be discouraged, write to a different publisher instead. (Or write to multiple at the same time)

By the way, for a help site, you could try www.bloomsbury.com, they have a section on it.
Why are more young teens and adults liberal and few of them conservative?
Why are most young people in their teens or early adulthood liberal, with very few conservatives in the same age group?
I wouldn't say that dude. I was libertarian as soon as I could register to vote. I have always been a very independent person and I don't like anyone telling me what to do. I trust in myself more than others and I don't like help unless I ask for it. Changed to republican bc I think there needs to be a war on drugs. There is a such thing as Limbaugh babies, but then again our public schools are doing their best to spoon feed diversity. If republicans had our way, you wouldn't need diversity, everyone is an individual, not a sheep. Alot of it is MTV culture, Winston Churchill had a good quote about this. Something like if you are under 40 and not liberal, you have no heart. If you are over 40 and aren't conservative, you have no brain.
